Best 6X9s?

I'm wondering about advice on good 6X9s. I'm putting them in the rear of a 69 Mustang.

Good brands, models, anything. I'm looking for something with reasonably good sound balance, but maybe a bit more bass. I have Diamond 6.5s in front which put out PLENTY of high end.

Looking to spend anything up to 170 dollars for a pair, but I can do eBay, so that will go a long way.

Anybody?

Thanks

6X9 is a good all around speaker, but I was very impressed with the Infinity Kappa's also like the Kicker Resolutions, Pioneer Premieer and the Crystals

Jensen 3 way's. My dad bought some for his 68 mustang, putting 100 watts to them, holy @#$T those things are so good, seriously. But in my 68 I put some older Mobile ES ones, and they bump pretty good too. Or, you could go with everyone else and get the Infinity's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Just because it's cheap in price doesn't mean cheap in sound.

Well I dunno about that....those Jensen may "sound" good to you but to other's sound like crap. I had a friend who bought some "good" Jensen speakers and then gave him my old Sony, SONY for Christ's sake, and he said he'll never buy that crap again, I agreed too.

Then you don't know what good sound is.

If he likes em that's fine, but the recommend then to someone else looking to spend up to $170 is wrong. That's like someone going wanting to go out to a nice steak dinner and I recommend them my college's BBQ sandwich cause I like em.

I have a set of Planet Audio NEO 6x9's running off of a small Alpine. They come with external crossovers and removable tweeters so you can convert them into a 6x9 component set. It's like having 10's in my door.

I got a set of brand new Infinity Kappa 692.5i's off ebay for around $110 dollars and they're the best 6x9"s I've ever heard. Even running them just off my Alpine deck, I've had people thinking I had an 10" sub.
