Then go to your local Pick-N-Pull and get some junkyard speakers. Anything costing $20 new will be no better than something you find in a junkyard premium sound system. You may even stumble upon aftermarket speakers that are quite good but were left in the car.

Very true. I have found great aftermarket speakers in the junkyard, some old pioneers from the mid 90s and some eclipse 6x9s. Also several headunits. You can get some good stuff.
