Best 6.5" speaker for bass

I am going with this setup:

HU - Eclipse CD5435

Front Speakers - Diamond M361

Amp - Pheonix Gold Octane 8.0:4

Rear Speakers - ??

I want some rear deck speakers that will put out some nice bass. I was looking at those Tang Band subs but I have not found anyone that has had them. These Kickers seem decent too. I also saw the JL 6W0 but I would have to build a box for them somehow. I need them to go in the rear deck so I dont know how I would build a box around them. Are there any full rang speakers that have good low end bass? I do not want a sub in a box because I need my trunk space.

XXX Midbass -- or fit some 8" or 10" woofers/subwoofers in the rear deck with some modification...

Haven't heard them; but the eD EU-700 is a long throw 6.5" aswell. Something to look into.

Or, as Ology said; fit a small sub infinite baffle on your rear deck. Something like the 10" Soundplinter Rl-i or 8" or 10" Image Dynamics IDv3 series would work great, and for not much money. Actually, it'd be cheaper than the XXX mids, have more displacement and just as good SQ, and you'd only need ~250w.

Tang Band also makes a long-throw 6.5" driver with 11.5mm of Xmax. Parts Express stocks them, they're around $50 IIRC.

here theres a post i did on the eu-700 great speaker, and the enclosure is .1 cubic feet too small for the woofer.

yup! Do the EU. its a great lil driver and for 50 bucks, i don think it can be beat (never herd the tang bands tho) . i mite pick up a couple more hehe
