I've heard good things about those ma's but the polks also get great reviews. I heard some in a wall with no amp and they sounded pretty good. Plus you've heard them.

anywhoo, 100 true rms to them should be fine. they'll take more but that will power them fine

I'm sorry but why the in the hell would you run MA poo over ID and HAT?

A couple reasons - they art $170, and the reviews have been pretty much on par with the hat's and id's. Also, I am not going to run them coax or active, so that seems to negate the HAT's.

they arn't even close to either the HAT or ID's which are 160.

Which id's? Just found the id csx62 v.2 for $209 shipped. That seems to change the game a bit since the gap is almost moot ((for the most part).

I got to hear a pair of these yesterday at one of those electronic liquidation sells and they were very impressive. Plus they will take $140 for them which is cheaper then the liquidation sell had them for - Massive Audio CK6V 6.5" 2-Way Stage V Component 6-1/2" Car Speaker System | eBay

Ah, I missed the link before. I read one review of those that said the tweeters were very harsh. I think if I was going to go ID, I'd get the cxs's for $50 more. Now I must chose between ck6's for $140, or cxs's for $209. Grrr - I wish I Han a shop remotely close to me that had these speakers so I could listen to them. Buying off reviews has me struggling with making the discision.

Let's hope. I have played them for just one hour. I also suspect, the woofer suspension needs some time to loosen up. Right now it seems quite anemic. Right now, it's as loud or less loud than my Alpines, even though the HATs have much higher sensitivity, on paper.
