Best 4v single din

So I think my old 9884 needs to go, had it for a few years and it only has 2v preouts. Was good to start off with but I need something a little more. What are some of the best single din 4v-5v decks with iPod (USB may work)? I just pulled out my 9884 and the back was really hot to the touch :/

alpine cda 9835. I love mine. It does have ipod controls via the kca 420i however you can also buy an adapter to convert ai net into usb if usb is something you really want

If you like your Alpine, roll with the CDA-117. I've used my friends iPods on it and it works pretty nicely. I use USB, a little sluggish in the menus but whatever, it does the trick. Sound quality is amazing.

CDA9855 will come cheap. Nearly all pioneer units in the last few years come with 4v and usb. Not the best sound quality but pretty good. I suggest getting usb/ipod adapters for older 3way decks like the 9853 9855 and the 860MP/960MP
