best 400-watt 10" sub??

hey guys,

looking for a 10" sub to go into a 350z. Specs...it has to be a small sealed enclosure. Good mix of SQ and SQL. To let you know what I like, I'm running a 12" IDMAX using a 800W PPI amp in my 330i. I like that setup a lot.

I've thought about getting another 12" IDMAX, but I'm open to trying other brands as well. I'll be bridging the rear channles of a kicker amp and will give me about 400W RMS to play around with.

Are there any others that would be similar to what I'm getting out of my IDMAX?

Thanks!

if i was in your situation, i would try out the ED A-series or the W7.

how much space are you willing to give up? if you have less than 1.8 cubes, then i'd scratch the w7 off that list. other than that, those are my choices.

i dont know if 400watts is doing either of those subs justice, but if you are upgrading in the future or willing to spend a lot (on the w7, that is) then go for those...

I kinda have to make a sacrifice guys...the 350z has a small hatch, and I really do not want to add more than 60lb of audio gear.

Would I have to go with the smallest ported enclosure I can find then?

need a lot more power if you want to run a W7 correctly.

W6v2 is not a bad option either for primarily sq.
Titaniums aren't meant for small ported enclosures...

W7 will be fine for him with 400 watts

Brahma 10" maybe? Put it in about a cube or so and 400 watts will be plenty for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oops, yeah I see it...someone mentioned small ported though, oh well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'd take a look at the Eclipse Alums and Ti's, as well as the Brahma 10", ED A 10", 10W7, etc...

With that little space, however, the ED A 10" might be the best choice...they were designed with small enclosures in mind...
