I'd go HDC's for a daily set up that will get loud, but still have solid SQ. Either 2 2200D's or the new 3500D for power.

I've never heard an L7 that I liked. They can get loud, but I wouldn't call it music....

What about the IA DR's they get loud as well as have good SQ.One 1000-1500d on each and you'd be set.

Current ownerAs for comparison I haven't owened any of the listed but have heard them in several different cars.BTL,Nightshade,and mach 5 would be alittle more SPL oriented IMO and in another class then these.However that doesn't make them any less of a sub.I say these are a good mix of SPL and SQ for the best of both.They can get loud while still being amazingly accurate with response.As for power handling I would say the 1000rms is a conservitive number.
