Your sub will take more than 4k daily... A TON MORE!!!

The XXX will take it and sound a lil better... but 4" coil... id expect that...

T3 depending on which version you got compares to the SS XXX in a daily application.

Put 4k on a BTL and see what happens..... WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER!!! Or ill just make a vid of a side by side of the HW and a BTL... But that would be embarassing.... hmmm I think I might just have to do that and piss off some people

The BTL has a sheer disadvantage to the other subs on that list... for PURE spl to Daily.... its even priced the same as the others. (if you know what I mean)

Didnt read the whole thread but i know MT's can take a load of power for daily. Nice and loud too! I'm having a hard time parting with mine.

For my daily... I have one of my 15" HeavyWeights in a TTB folded horn. it is Dual 1.8. I have it wired to a RD 5750.1 @ 15.5 Volts, And it has been doing great for a LONG time now... And trust me... I beat the shit out of it... I dont baby it... I have it cranked for 10-15 minutes at a time

I have one vid but its just a quick one on a cell phone and it sucks!!! LOL

Your box sounds good if you give it good port area

Im not gonna *honor* my numbers but they were on a AC 190... but I was able to pull a 151 on it. The reason why im not gonna honor it is because I dont have any pics... didnt care for the numbers... I wanted to see how well the box did on different levels.

Its not superior and im not biased. But I have played with pretty much every single big boy sub on the market... and the HW in a high power application will dominate.

no.... not even close to 5 minutes.... Heres the difference... I had this HW in a prefab 4.0 box @ around 42 hz.... and played 25 hz sines with 4k+...... The sub was completely unloading and slamming the backplate and coil against the sides... I was torturing it to see what its breakin point was..... Lets just say.... after that i hit it with 240 volts... and it is the one im using in my durango still with the same softparts. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
