What I am looking for is a 15" sub that can play loud, can sound clear, can handle 1000+ RMS in a sealed box, and can have a fairly flat response in that sealed box.

Good motors, but in a sealed box... I dont think that is the ideal box for them. A sub with a low fs and flat BL curve is a good start.

One of the only reasons I would not consider it anymore is because of the size and weight....anything over about 50 pounds is not worth it to me, because the box would have to weigh another 100 pounds for the XXX lol

And I know of a sub that is CHEAP and you can get custom built.

Go to ebay and type in "Adire Audio"

Click on Braha MKIV or whichever model

From there you will go to Robot Underground, there they have the Brahma subs in any size and design you want for CHEAP... = the XXX
