Best 15" SQL Subs

Okay, I am reading through a lot of threads and I see different people talking about subs that can play loud but still have very good SQ. What I am looking for is a 15" sub that can play loud, can sound clear, can handle 1000+ RMS in a sealed box, and can have a fairly flat response in that sealed box.

I have a lot of different subs running through my head right now (FI Q, JL W7, RE XXX, RD Alpha, etc.), but I want YOU to help me out.

Oh, and I also don't want a sub with the price tag of that darn JL W7, lol

I have a 15" RD Alpha V2 DVC2...Not for sale, but would need more than 1000 watts sealed.

My Mag V3 does all the above in the 3cuft sealed box I have it in. Certainly worth taking a look at.

Mags are good subs.

If you wanted to do a 1k rms subs, RD Sonance. Does very very well sealed.

You are correct

FS is under 28hz after break in IIRC

They're very nice subs, efficient and fairly loud. Not to mention my new favorite SQ sub. Sound amazing.

Thanks for the list so far....power is not a problem, because I have not bought the amp yet either, so you can list 15" subs that are loud and are "audiophile" quality that take more than 1000watts RMS

Not in production anymore so you will have to buy used/hope to find one that someone bought but have not used. Usually one on here every week.

no one mentioned the mach 5 IXL? 220$ brand new

or the FI Q? or SSD (both do well in sealed boxes i've read)

or the ICON (does very well in sealed enclosure)

^ none will break the bank, all are SQ drivers and all get notoriously LOUD, not like DD95 or sundown nightshade loud, but i've read multiple setups in the 142-146db range with 15" versions of these drivers (not sealed but you get my point)
