Best 15 for 3.5 cubes

I have just enough room in my dakota to run 3.5 cubes per sub (2 ported). Each sub will be getting about 1500 - 1700 watts.

What would you suggest?

I have heard nothing but good things about the 9515s. I was only looking in the 350-400 range. I was thinking of the type-r's, L7s, SX, or something like those. This will be a daily setup, but I would like to get into competing too.

Mag 15's would do great in that volume.. but somewhat over your price range..

maybe Audioque HD 15's?

Is it really all that important to match up to the specs as far as size of a ported box? Im dealing with like 6.9 cubes or something.

The box will be 47"x23"x14"

Just under the window of the club cab with the seats comfortable for me. This will be a daily driver and I just feel comfortable seeing out the back.

Im looking to basically give everyone around my truck that stomach drop.

You might also want to check out the TC-3000's i think you would be able to push them good with that much power. If not MTX 9500's.

I will give all them a check. Sound quality is kinda important, but i do realize that im gonna have 2 15s right behind me with nothing between them and me.

Would it be worth it to run 4 10s rather than 2 15s? how would the output compare? I have enough room for either i figured.
