best 12 s for smaller vented enclosure?

I`ve tried several crossover slopes and crossover points with my pioneer premier p1r head unit .Also i have a PG bass cube which helps a lot. Even though the 1.85 is very close to what infinity kappa perfects recommend; i just can`t seem to get the bass to my liking.i`ve heard the kappas in a 2.25 @33 hz and liked them better.....but also i have a two sealed that i like the best for the infinity kappas.

i got this dual 1.85 a side enclosure in a trade and just tried the infinitys [taking them out of their sealed box] i like to change up my subs from time to time...as i have several possibilities to satisfy my road trip whims.i love the look and fit of the new 2 12 box and was looking for something that would work well.Based on every thing i`ve heard and this forums recommendations i`m going to order the dayton ho....never had any dayton subs so i1m really excited. while i`m waiting on them to arrive i`ve hooked up my single RF T1 12 In rockfords high out put box. It get downs pretty good and has nice sq as well.

The SI Mag v3 re release fits your existing box pretty well. But won't be available for a couple months AFAIK.

NVX VCW12 also might work well.

Update i went with 2 dayton ho`s about a month ago and have been very pleased with them.very nice[smooth] sound quality and they get decently loud as well.I have used these in my truck and inside for HT use. keeping these for life.Thanks for all the advice guys...this is an awesome forum.

Nice i also really liked the smooth bass output of the HO i just hated the plain look they had:/

I did this when trying to decide on a 15 inch sub in a 5 cu ft box tuned to 26 Hz. Found out that FI, Ascendant, Incremenator, and DC all performed similarly at equal power in my setup, but FI and Ascendant had better mechanical control of the woofer below 20 Hz.
