just ordered 4 AA Havoc 18s

they are going in a 99 Tahoe, and yes guys I plan to buy some quality amps I want 2, one for each pair. I was thinking soundqubed 4500s or DD m4a's just so I can always have more power on hand if I ever were to upgrade. I got the .7 coils, I plan to run 1 amp to a pair, how would I go about wiring? I know in parallel but ive never dealt with .7 coil subs. example, I buy a soundqubed 4500 and I throw 2 subs on it. how would I go about wiring it and how much power would it be giving the subs? the SQ4500 at 14.4v does 1400 @ 4 ohms, 2280 @ 2 ohms, and 45060 @ 1 ohm

upgrading from 4 kicker cvr 15s to 4 havoc 18s, got them with carbon fiber dust caps and the AA logo, I wasn't really digging the new logo. wow, cant believe I bought 4 18s. dam. super stoked bros
defintely do a build log man! sounds killer!

.7 coils wired series will give you 1.4 divide that by 2 subs will give you .7 after impedance rise you should fall around 1.5 ohms - ish so estimate a number around there. Only way to know is to clamp.

Don't forget dual 270a+ alts and 6+ group 31 batts. What's the plan for the box? I'd do around 24cu with 300cu in of port tuned to 34Hz.

yeah guys I dont know to much about how to wire these .7 coils all I knew was kicker come on all they have is 2 or 4 lol I will learn though. im a quick learner, ask a couple questions and do a bit of research and we'll be good. and definitely dual alts if I plan on running DD m4a's those amps are insane. for the box build I think I just might have to remove my back seat, the max enclosure size I was able to get without removing the rear seats is 20 cubes net, and I dnt wanna do 5 cubes each sub. I wanna give them the recommended, I can do either 2 things. make the box a little higher like way passed the window line but that's gna be boring because I wanna see the subs moving and not only that I might as well wall it off if im not gna be able to see the cars behind me. second option is removing the back seats and still give them their proper air space but below the window line. bottom line, im looking at 24 cubes net tuned to 29hz as I mostly listen to decaf and other music with lots of lows

U can fit them behind 2nd row under window line, lots of ppl have done it. When subs are sharing an enclosure 5 cubes per woofer is plenty to get loud with buttttt, just do it right the first time and build a 30^3 wall.. And when doing a wall I hear so many different answers from ppl about tuning. Some say tune in the 20s and some say tune below 34hz and u will loose output, my wall right now is tuned to around 29-30hz on paper and it sounds good and has a decent bandwidth but my next wall I'm gunna tune to 34hz and it will still play hella low I'm sure. All I listen To is decaf and love the lows.
