best 12" sub out??

nothing wrong with the mojo sub. I love it. I just like trying new stuff. Around here, I was the only one rocking memphis, now either everyone wants it, or has some variation of it. I have a complete memphis setup. Q component set, mclass 6x9's, 3004 mclass 4 channel amp, mojo sub, and mojo amp

i also competley agree with that.. the BTLs and the Qs both sound really good and are pretty cheap.

Have you heard anything from Fi at all? You speak as if you have. I see nothing wrong with makeing reccomendations for subs you havent heard. what about elemental design subs? I had a pair of those a couple yrs ago. I kinda want the best of both worlds, spl and sq. Is that even possible?

Nothing ben will ever make will ever come close to the magnatude of subs that can be had for $400 or less.

the new sub crave is anything from Fi so most of the recommendations are going to be either a Q or a BTL

Audioque HD 15" is 374shipped and comes with a 2year warranty, not sure about the price on the 12, i kno mine was 394shipped back in january, but it seems they had a price drop since then, i also just ordered a fi audio q 15 for my gf's car...but id g owith either a FI audio btl or audioque hd

Really dont know why people bag on the Alpine type R's. For the price, they are hard to beat.

Saying that, I would recommed the IDMax, just because it is sexay, loud and clean!

so , how would a 12" mag compare to four 12" type r's (both of a 20.1)?

i know the mag would take up a lot less room, and probably sound better, but if both installs are done right, wouldn't the alpine's have the capability to get a lot louder?

A lot louder? no.

A few dB? yes.

You would also need 4 times the room and more power.

SQ and accuracy isnt even compareable.

personaly, JL i think, is wayy over rated. and much more expensive then the other stuff you can find on these fourms. I think they sould like crap. now if in a well built box they can sound nice. but about 99% of the people who do buy JL, dont ever box them right, therefore they sould like crap

i still say go with FI Q or BTL 12" loud and good sq.

or if you can get a 13" go for the 33v1s or 33v2s they are jsut about the cleanest subs on the market.

hmm, everything that came to mind quickly has already been mentioned, except for a new brahma, but people were having issues with those, if not for that I'd say go with one of them. Adires old stuff was awesome, if there new stuff is better it could be amazing.
