Yes actually I ran it for a while at 100hz and Flat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif Almost pointless I know lol. Its sounded great to my untrained ears. Still no distortion but I felt it had gained output and started sounding more like a daily beater (without any boom) than a refined audiophile driver. Cam does some amazing tuning and I know he knows much more about the sonics than I do so for the most part I keep his tuning but sometimes I enjoy having a bit heavier of a bottom end which the mag can easily deliver with some tweaking. The one thing that is fun is that I always have to check to see if the sub is even playing, since its downfiring in my center console I can just reach down to feel it, just seems like the mids handle everything.I read the review and one thing stuck out to me. He said the LP filter on the Mag was set at 50hz@24db. Have you tried raising the crossover point on the Mag? I've never used the Mag, but it is often mentioned that it sounds very similar to the DIYMA R12 (which I use currently), and I actually hated the DIYMA running that low. It wasn't until I raised the crossover up to 100hz @12db that I actually enjoyed its sound. Just some food for thought.
I have heard the same things about the similarities with the Mag and DIYMA, someday I plan on trying one out. I am about to complete my box for my mag and I think it would work perfectly for a diyma to drop into as well, now will just have to track one down sometime to try out.
