best $100 components

No, it really wasn't ignorant. I know cheap stuff isn't always junk. Heck, I frequent slickdeals every day. However, I also know what this component set is capable of passively. I ran it for a months on plenty of clean power with the passive crossovers and much fiddling with EQ settings. Honestly, this set is garbage. Midrange is extremely harsh with metal music and the tweeters do not handle power as favorably as the woofers. With my listening taste, I find they are not suitable.

Holy cow, they're $30 cheaper now than they have been recently. Big deal, they still ****.

They may fare better active, but I really do not think that wooofer can go up to 3000 Hz on a flat EQ without being incredibly harsh. I think it may sound decent on a crossover at something like 1.6 Khz, but then the tweeter can't play that low so that's a moot point.

I like my RSD's. But im selling them lol. Im thinking of getting those CDT's. How do you guys like them
You will notice a big upgrade from the RSD's to the CDT's, the CDT have much more midbass, smoother tweeters, take more rms watts and produce more detail in the vocals.
