Best 10" Sub ???

I would go dc over the bl, but they won't be as loud as the bl. They do imo sound nicer though, 2 lvl 3 10's in a horn or t line would sound great if you cabin works with them.

i'll try to get some pics tomorrow but picture a wedge box that fills that rear area all the way to the top of the seat. the subs fire down to the floor with maybe an inch or so between the subs and the floor.

What would be better about going with a 15? Unless he gets a 15 that's almost double the power, then I don't see any advantage

I was very happy with the rfr3110 10" hx2. High output and nice quality

This should help. Its very common here. They were designed to fit behind the third row of the full body GM suvs. guys use this design on the new tahoes and old ones. MTX even sold a box like this prefab with 5500's a couple years back. A bunch of guys in NYC have this design in their trucks.

Rough dimension I have to work with (most likely gonna need to fire down so gotta leave room for excursion) is:

Dimensions 42.25'' W x 12.5'' BD x 7'' TD x 18" H I could go about a few inches higher (maybe 6-8in) but my top depth would be shrinking as well.

I'm guessing it'll net around 2.5-3.0cuft. Havent run exact numbers yet.

Design was looking to be somewhere along this line as mentioned by Chipmunk2k3.

It MIGHT fit 12s, but I'm not too sure if I'll have enough volume for box n ports. I gotta sit down and work on the exact numbers maybe tomorrow. But it'll probably be around 2.5-3cuft as I mentioned before?

Any subs come to anybodys mind that'll work with this much space and MAYBE? take one bpx2200.1 a piece (I believe it was rated around 2500wrms @ 4 Ohms) and tuned around 33Hz and sound clean (not necessarily the best sq but reasonable sq is required). Still unsure on how to fit any spare batteries, but the alternator and stock battery gonna be upgraded for sure!

Budget? Well let's say if the product is worth the money, I have the money to buy it. To be honest nothing so far has shown me to warrant it yet, but honestly around 10k for sub and amps for the subs.

Then it's off to figure out how to get the mids/highs to match.

My last system in an 04 sequoia:

3-13w7 tuned to 30Hz (if I remember correctly)

3-jl 1000/1

2-boston spz60

1-Boston z6

1-pg zx600.2ti

1-pg zx500.4

I had 2 other pairs of bostons, but couldn't figure out where to fit em, lol

This was a no research done I just bought what was popular and put it together system, cost way too much for what I got, but no doubt about it, it was loud and clean!

Also is there a reason for the xcon over the zcon?

As mentioned before I have a pair of bpx2200.1s just stored around it would be cool to finally use em or just one, but they dont meet what would be needed for this mystery setup still, I have no issues buying new ones.
