Best 10" sub for under $100?

Ahh, so you are short on space? Just be warned, the 187s would be quite nice in a sealed box, but if you wanted to play with your setup in the future, I don't think you could port them. Not a big concern since Winter is coming up, but just an FYI.

The Auras are made by Algo Sound, AKA AuraSound. They are discontinued. I have a pair, DesertHeat has a pair, and I think someone else has a pair. As rare as the TC9 Uberwoofer. Enough SQ to make Dan Wiggins smile. I brought them up because Desertheat is getting rid of his (last I knew) for $89 a piece, shipped.

Highly Recommend Xtant Hex 10's... I have 3.. they sound awesome and are loud!!! (146.xx on my AC meter @ dash) w/90 day warranty on ebay $120pr shipped! Retailed for $350 ea.!

Don't worry, I don't see myself going ported anytime soon, so I'm good.

Anyway, as to my earlier question, how would the 10" 187's compare to a pair of 10" P2's from RF? SPL & SQ?

I personally like the Alpine type E. I had a pair of 12" audiobahns (AW122T) in my car which I was not satisfied with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif . My friend had a pair of 10" Alpine type E which are not very expensive ($80) each that I put in my car and they put my audiobahns to shame //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif . Since then went to purchase my own pair and am now very satisfied with my sounds //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . This is what I bought a pair of Alpine Type E 10" subs, 250w RMS and 700w peak. I am giving them 800w at 2ohms parallel and they sound awesome. Great buy for the money
