best 10" sql sub?

what was originally a question about 10" subs. has now become something completely offtrack. does anybody have any experience with 10" subs that can handle some power and still sound good? i was thinking about idmax 10s but theyre are a little to deep, for what i need.

Small woofers and loud don't mix. For subwoofer duty, I consider 12" a minimum. 10" or 8" is a joke unless you only want a little bit of output (just blending and filling) or intend to run an array of them to achieve adequate cone area.
For SQL, I would think more towards 15" and 18" subs. Available options are plentiful. Which sub depends upon many factors: budget, size constraints, power, desired frequency response, desire sound characteristics, etc...
Please stop spreading misinformation.

with the amount of space you say you have you could easily do 2 10's ported. and with even 2000 watts it could get loud as hell
