Best 10" for 400 watts?

Will a 10" SS RL-i sound good off 400 watts? What else should I consider?

Mounting depth should be 6" or less...

Looking for SQL, more towards SQ if it comes down to it. It needs to sound as good or better than my last setup.

id say alpine type R. i was running mine at 400 watts in my truck and it was beautifull. if your a sq person, it was everything you needed and then some.

Type R SQ?? I've heard a lot of Type R setups expecially since I used to work at Best Buy. None of them were even close to SQ unless you listen to rap in which case SPL is all that matters.

A TC 10 OEM from TCSounds is an awesome sub but it wont budge off of 400rms. Look into the PhoenixGold RSD or the IDQ.

RL-i is a great sub and will do very well off that power. Look int the SI BM as well.

yo your full of it type r's have awesome sq and bestbuy is the bigest shit hole ripe off store in the world is sinfull that you even worked there. i dont know what the **** your comparing it to but pushing 400-500 watts a type r is the best for the money. alpine ****en rocks.

You must have an inner ear problem. And there is no way the Typre R is the best SQ sub for the money. Type Rs have crappy SQ. Great budget SPL sub if you run about 1000w to them. But an SQ sub it is not. You have obviously not heard many subs if you have come to this conclusion.

One more suggestion would be a pair of Memphis MClass subs. Great subs (Had a pair for my first setup) and would do great off that power. They go for $89 apiece on woofersetc.com
