Looks like a drastic and awesome improvment. But you should carpet your trunk lid to match the carpet in your trunk, for an idea of what I'm talkin about, look in my gallery. It had teh same bare metal and dynamat (in my case RAAMmat) look...otherwise is sick dude.

Pretty much. just glued it on with the stickiest stuff we could find. But beware, My lid had a lot lof dips and it was difficult to work in there. Those parts are starting to sag now. and dont cover up the lids breather holes either...

Heh....after you posted that I went to grab a pic to show you. I didnt cover them with the Mat but I sure as hell covered them with the carpet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Its been over a year and nothing bad has happened even with the Florida sun...I guess its OK to cover them but probably recommended.

What wire. Those bars come like that on the box. Its the JL recommended sealed box.

I was thinking about going ported too but I don't think a good ported box will fit in my trunk.
