I have a buncha gear chillin in my basement. Wondering if its worth it to reuse this stuff or ebay it for new gear.

I am shall we say more then partial to this gear though.

2 Soundstream class A 10.0

2 Soundstream class A 5.0

4 SPL 160's

Concept 97.2 Orion EQ

Audio Control EQX and INdash eq/line driver

Dyn Audio 7's

Wife sold my Kef UNI Q 160 when were umm on hiatus.

gotta buncha other stuff kickign around too

Orion HCCA 10's 3-4 decks and about 10 miles of power/speaker wire.

Worth bothering or is new gear better?

I did hit 148 with this way way way back in the day. When 160 was the top end of SPL.

I still love the old school gear from the 90's. In fact, the system in my wife's Navigator is mostly all stuff from back then and it still sounds awsome. I'd use it if I were you.....or sell some of it to me. lol That would be OK by me. Good luck in the decision making process.

Everything you own is worth keeping, in fact many are now considered collectors items that would be hard to replace without spending a good amount of money if you ever wanted to buy it back later.

Yah I dropped 20k on my gear back then. With wiring and blowing the front stage to bits 3-4 times doesn't help either. Never going to buy Mb Quart again I know this.

Welcome back!~! I recently came back after a 8 year hiatus and ironically had a system pretty close to yours back then also. Most of the things I sold and now I wish I had kept.

If your looking to build another system keep the amps and possibly the subs (depending on what shape that are in after time), ditch everything else. There have been major upgrade with the rest.

The real upgrades your going to have now is the sensitivity of the onboard crossover networks, the class D amplification will gain you more power in the end while gaining a bit of THD and the Decks have a lot more integration then they did, a lot more low level power output on the line, built in high end EQs, etc…

Nothing wrong with the gear posted, keep the SS amps, there some of the best to this day.

yah firgured the gear was still decent.

Although looking around the Audio Control Processors I have now are pretty much the same as the new ones. AS for the subs and mid bass yah they are in awesome shape

Only had them in 1 SPL ride my old cavalier. Well 98 z24 lol When it was new.
