Been a while since i played with car audio, advice needed please

Hey guys,

So i brought myself a new car and the stereo is shocking, i mean really bad.. I had a basic ice install in my old car but want a better quality thuis time round.. I'm getting a bit confused with what i am reading online so thought id come to where the experts are..

I don't want to lose any functionality, i have steering wheel controls, bluetooth, parking sensors and phone all work off my steering wheel controls..

If i want to keep the OEM HU what are my options..

Im thinking a digital sound processor, a 4 channel amp to run some new component speakers, dynamat the doors, then a 2 channel amp to run a sub in the boot.. Would this work, allowing me to keep the original HU and functionality of the steering wheel?

Any other suggestions appreciated?

ah sorry forgot about that.. im UK but in dollars around 1000-1200
