I'd rather do a GOOD QUALITY single 15 and a reliable 1500W amp. The Maxxsonics products listed should do or even the Audiopipe (buy with warranty!). I think people underestimate what a top tier 15" in 5 cubes with a big port can accomplish.

one decent 12 or 15, in the proper ported box will work wonders. I run a dc lvl4 12 in a 1.5 cuft 2 32hrtz, on about 1500wrms, very impressive.

I will vouch for the VMAX 12's. I had one ported to about 35 on a 500 watt memphis amp and it sounded very good, as said above those 2 on an audiopipe AP15001D would slam very hard., great subs, right on budget an AP15001D (not ASPM) is about $150

alright let me know, honestly these will get louder and sound better with the lack of airspace for the 15s.
