Ok, for English class I need to make a list of unusual reasons you should be nice to your neighbors. I figured you guys would have some good ones.

Here's what I have so far:

They will be more likely to let you borrow tools.

They will be more likely to lie for you if you committed a crime and need an alibi

They will be less likely to Kill you

They will be less likely to report you for a rowdy party

They will be less likely to steal from you

They will be more likely to help you during the apocalypse

They can talk to you when you're lonely

More people will come to your neighborhood BBQ's

My neighbors hate me because of my friends. One of my friends that comes over every now and again owns a Viper with no mufflers and another friend that comes over every now and again has a twin turbo Camaro SS that is straight piped after the turbos. Then there is the buddy with a LS powered 240SX drift car. My wife hates him, so he doesn't come around any more.

My cousin used to work with and buy some good vegetables from a guy, and he would never give me his number or let me meet him. A year or 2 later I moved a few miles from where I was living into another house my landlord had for rent.
