**** I wonder what kind of voltage they must have put into the input for it to do that lol... You know that if they want they can say that the max input voltage level is indicated....

this is true, however i just left crescendos website and i checked their site as well as the store and no where on there does it state a "max input voltage", that i seen anyway. it wasnt me regardless, my pre outs are only 2.2v the other guy must have had a high pre out and damaged it.

yea i know. i guess we will see. i mean its just $200 & it could have been worse seeing what he fixed on it and the time it took. like i said the price i got it for even with $200 im still under the price of them new so i would be ok with paying for it i guess.

That's pretty good though if you still get it under new price even needing the repair. I mean it does **** if they won't cover it under warranty but as least it wasn't an arm and a leg to get it fixed.

yea so i mean worst case i will pay it. i know amp medics does amazing work

ok so i talked to my friend on lunch. he said that steve said the way it happened looked like chain reaction. he said it blew the driver board, all the regulators, the pre-amps, and some fets. So yea its pretty much going to be a brand new amp lol. but again its funny how there were no traces of anything being blown.

and no word yet if they are going to warranty it.

mine are to. and yea thats d@mn near the entire amp. so he changed all the of the Fets, replaced the driver board, the regulators, and the pre-amps. long story short the amp is brand new lol.

yep.... i sold Mojo 4k for $450. i really didnt have intentions of getting a amp right off but my friend said he found a bc3500d and the guy would take $450 shipped for it, seeing i have been wanting a crescendo for like 2 years now, i really couldnt pass that up even tho it did blow. so yea i will only have $200 out of pocket for the bc3500 if i have to pay for the repairs
