bazooka vs. normal subwoofer

I would only use Bazooka in a very tight space and if I want a bit of low end extension..for anything else I would use a sub..Hell I would modify a car b4 I would use a Bazooka but then again They just dont meet my needs..Yours may be different but I think you can get a better sub and box for the price of one of those.

Bazookas are ok for standard size pickups with limited space behind the seat but i wouldn't reccomend them for a trunk or suv. They don't supply the same amount of bass that a subwoofer enclosure provides.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The tubes/triangles/ blah blah = BS

200 to 300 dollars you get something that is simple to install yourself....

it hits like a 3 year old.

There are 3 reasons to by the self amplified bonzo tubes.

1. Cheaper over all than a quality set up

2. Space. ( but 98% of the time you can build something that will hit harder and sound better in that space.

3. Laziness on the install part. cause it saves you the 5 min to hook up the speakers and the 2 hrs of building the box.

So if you looking SQ and SPL stay away from the tubes but if you want something fast, cheap and dont want to have to spend time on it then go for it. It wont sound to bad in a small truck

dont put them in cars or suv's or vans though it will sound like a sub under water.....
