ugrading your wire will save you money in the long run so you wont have to do this when you upgrade ur system to somethin bigger...buying a kinetik 1400 will only be a temp fix....when you upgrade the system later then you'll have to sell it cuz ur gonna want a bigger battery...(thats a no go in my book research 2x buy 1). no need to waste money on a battery if you are gonna see a voltage drop due to resistance in the wire..then what then ur gonna have to upgrade the wire anyway..might as well see if the new thicker wire will help out if not...hey then you already covered that and never have to do it again.

how about this am i ok with the voltage drop im geting 12.6 with bass hiting pretty **** hard with my car siting there or at low rpms. I did see some dimming well driving i was going i would say 40 mph or so i wanted to see if it was dimming and my friend was like yup it is.

most people would kill to see that voltage on drops

you can do larger wire and big 3 BUT you really arent pushing much power at all.

you could do a alternator but for now a waste of $ unless you get some serious power.

or you can start with a good battery like your thread is asking about

with a larger power supply you may not see dimming

ok there is 3 wires....one goin from your alt to your battery...then one from your ground (of your battery) to the chassis...then another ground from the chassis to the engine (block or head) it as easy as cutting the old oem ones off and attaching the new upgraded ones in their place.

4 gauge to a block and i have 10 i think guage or it might be 8 to my amp i also have 10 gauge ground wire to my amp i also can run another amp for my highs i have the power and ground wire ran .I have 2 30 amp fuses in my block

it just takes some manuevering to get a bigger battery in there...i have seen people throw a d3100 into a stock area of a crx...or even the nsb90 its not hard just takes a creative mind....battery isnt really what he needs if he is using small wire...his problem is voltage drop(this is due to thinner wire=more resistance=less power to the amp hence the reason that the amp has to pull more current from the battery) upgrading the wire is a permanent investment...the battery is jus a temp investment

a larger battery is a good start

you DO NOT need larger wire right now. if you ever plan to put anything with

1000+ watts you could go ahead and do the wire.

larger wire right now may help but at the end of the day if your battery doesnt have enough juice you are wasting your time

ok sounds good let me get another pay check its just i want one to be able to replace my oem one just a straight drop in no modds nothing positve off and put on new batt thats it im lazy ahhahah . thanks i dont try to worry about watts cuz its like maxs and its only reached like for a sec or 2 if that. these amps dont reach there max i look at rms im running 300 to each sub so the amps says

i would guess your subs are getting maybe 200 each or at least close to it.

for batts

kinetik 1400 should drop right in

SVR batts have some good prices and good batts

odyssey (stinger without the stinger name on it)

stinger you are going to be spending some more $

there are a lot of other choices out there

how about yellow top? I think local auto shops example auto zone got them there like 152 with taxes the only good thing they can sell the one for my car and i can have my over priced battery that day ahhahah
