I was wondering what battery will fit my 1999 ford escort se.I want to upgrade my stock battery .After speaking with a few people on here i think that might help with my voltage drop. What battery will fit my car, and what is a good battery with in 125 shipped?

depends on how much current you are pulling

to fit under the hood look at kinetik 1400s

why dont you try upgrading your wiring first....sounds like you have more resistance in your wiring to the amps so the amps have to pull so much more current to make up for what is lost in the wire.....do a big 3 in 1/0 (for future builds) and upgrade the wire to 1/0 or 2 or 4 gauge...that should help more with current loss than just changing a battery.

Im bad under the hood no lie i dont like beleave in my self ahhahahha.Im nervous i will F somthing up. I seen the how to section here and other place i have a print out how to do it i am still a moron when it comes to under the hood

ugrading your wire will save you money in the long run so you wont have to do this when you upgrade ur system to somethin bigger...buying a kinetik 1400 will only be a temp fix....when you upgrade the system later then you'll have to sell it cuz ur gonna want a bigger battery...(thats a no go in my book research 2x buy 1). no need to waste money on a battery if you are gonna see a voltage drop due to resistance in the wire..then what then ur gonna have to upgrade the wire anyway..might as well see if the new thicker wire will help out if not...hey then you already covered that and never have to do it again.

Bro your right im with u 100 percent i dont think i can do it i know its easy. Im not retarted or any thing like that im good with my hands its just im afraid to f my car up.
