Ok so i have a display case in which i test some products.

Currently Im using a 120 to 12V convertor. However lately the thing keeps turning off when I turn it up or the lights will start dimming.

So than I bought a used battery and hooked up just the alpine 450 amp to it which is pushing either a RE 10" 600 watts rms or a L7 15" and it was working perfect, but than after about 45 min of continus play it died out on me.

Now my question is, What battery should I get that will last me longer, and how often would I have to charge. Or should I just stick to the convertor because there is no other option.

Also in addition to the amp and sub i have hooked up 6x9 and 6.5 and an indash.

what you need is a good 50+ amp power supply. that will keep the continuous amperage and voltage there for the amp.
