i have my postive wired conneted to my battery would it be better if i had a battery terminal is there anything thats make it better or is it just the same effect as what it is now??

Battery terminals just make it easier to connect several cables at once...some also have onboard fusing to eliminate the need for a seperate underhood fuseholder.
