I have 16 f 150 with 200 amp alt. Big 3 done. My smart 5 amp cuts off with the first heavy bass note on my stock electric at 1 ohm. It currently runs fine at 4.i obviously need more voltage/amperage. Would the xs power titan 8 battery alone be enough to get tbis amp going at 1 ohm? Thanks for any help this high power battery stuff is sometging i gotta learn.

Ps. I know that box ***** and its too small for my vxfs. I have 4 cu custim box in the works.

Thanks for the reply. Wow. 1200 watts? So i should be able to run that one with my stock electrical and power this smart 5 at 1 ohm? Almost sounds too good. But im willing to get whatever i need and the idea of one battery is much more appealing than changing an alt and multiple batteries. So this woukd be better choice than the titan 8 i assume? Thanks

12k is BS. It's a 48ah Lifepo4 lithium. This is what I would run if I were at stock voltage and didn't want to build my own lithium bank for a 5k amp.
Any problem running one of those straight back from an agm under the hood or would I need an isolator?

Would be fine with an AGM under the hood. No isolator needed.

That Titan 8 S7 you posted is not a good fit for you at all. 100% state of charge would be 19 volts for it. S5 is 12 volts, S6 is 14 volt, and S7 is 16 volt battery.

I'm not sure what your stock alternators voltage is but the Glowe is rated 13.8-14.8 volts.

Generally speaking, isolators’ should be used when there is a difference in the battery type. L/a battery to AGM, not a big issue, L/a, AGM to Lithium, isolator.

Isolators provide some benefits than when no isolator is used, they are fairly inexpensive. There may be reasons not to use one, but none that I know of.

Im gonna look into getting a new box built with a much bigger port.this ones 6" slams. But i know its being held back by that port. Anyone suggest a builder? I got this one from concept enclosures
I was actually kidding... A 6" flared port is pretty large as it is. A bigger port means a longer port means less box volume.. Can't do one without the other and keep the tuning as it is OR go any lower. That port is huge and yes, ports can get too big too. Are you going to get another box?

For this box tune to 33hz
