battery problem

well today i was out the door to get to work and i tried to start up the car and it didnt even start it just gave a little bit of a noise for about less then a second and thats it. So im assuming its the battery and im going to need a new one. If this is the case then i was wondering what type of battery i should get. Im planning on running a zx2500.1 sometime in maybe 1-3 months so i was wondering should i just upgrade to something now so i dont have to waste my money later or just something that will hold me over?

how old was ur battery? if this keeps on ur alt. is going or gone...

im not that sure how old that battery is because when i bought the car a year ago it was in there. it stilll does play music tho once its in accessories

i just replaced my battery right now wit the optima yellow top. my battery was messed up. when i turned the key it just made a noise and all power was gone. i guess it didnt take a charge.. this new battery is nice.. but the downside is that it was like 180
