when listening to your stereo with car on and you turn it off, should it get softer or stay the same, its just stock alt and everstart maxx?

Depends on the electrical system... Battery will put out 12v, Alt will put out 14.4v...

if you have regulated power supplies then it shouldnt change but if you have unregulated ones then it will

what do you mean?^ regulated power supplies in amp? its a pa a3000db, i figured it would die down some but when i cut it off it stays the same

i dont know if that amp is regulated or not

regulated power supplies put out the same wattage no matter the volts

unregulated ones will vary output depends on voltage
