My mechanic told me to get an isolator for my battery in my rear. I have two Kinetik Hc1400s, one in front and one in back.
Typically same brand AND same output, but not always. The fact that yours are both HC1400's you should be fine without an isolator. Just make sure your alternator can keep up the juice to both!ah i see. same brand or exactly same batteries? im thinking about upgrading to a hc2400 in the future.
Winner!125amps huh? 70amp delco. You talking cca or ah? Also an isolator not required. You connect the batteries together its like 1 big battery, use an isolator its 2 batteries. Only reason you would ever need one is if you play your stereo off for long periods of time and are worried about the car not starting. I can play music with my car off for 5 hours and it fires right up. Just a single deka is all i have.
