Battery is dead after install? Clicking when turning over.

So Is Life
I just bought an 07 Ford Focus and I'm doing everything I can to make it the most professional install I can by hiding everything and making it look stock. I have components in the front and the back. Two subwoofers which I made the box for and obviously two amplifiers. I bought the knuconceptz 4 channel installation kit (TERRIFIC quality), and bought some aftermarket speaker wire and 4awg wire to go from the distribution block to both amps. If there's some info I'm missing, obviously let me know.

So this process has been very TEDIOUS. It was not like my 95 buick where I didn't care and cut in to the frame without a care. I've been working on this for 4 days now and it is looking OEM and beautiful! The only problem is, I finally got around to wiring up and mounting my subwoofer amp (Hifionics hfi1000.1d) and when I tried to turn the car on to see if the amp was working... CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK (and the overhead light in the car turned off and on to the same beat). The car won't turn on. Sure I can jump it, but I stayed home tonight and got a taxi to the bar because I'm pissed off at whats going on here. I've done multiple installs and this has never happened. Any advice?

Thanks In Advance.

batt just might be weak iirc they came stock with small batts that dont have much reserve capacity. ive had this happen quite alot at the sound shop even with 15m headunit swaps. sometimes lead acid batts low on acid just dont hold charge long i doubt it had anything to do with the install

@N1ggapotamus- I left the stock wiring alone; literally nothing changed (which ***** it is so much easier to install in a "non-power everything" vehicle". No fuses are blown. I even CLEANED the corrosion spots from the battery and gave it a litte anti-rust coating on the terminal.

@winkychevelle- I have the money but I don't really want to spend it. You know the economy right now. How can I go about testing to see if my 07 battery has lost it's touch?? It just seems farfetched to me.

Go to your nearest wally world and buy a batt to throw in, if it works problem solved, it was the battery. If it doesn't just go return it since they wont give you **** about it and go back to trouble shooting.

Might need a 2nd person with you to do this, but get a DMM and put in on your battery and try and start your car and see what it drops to. Sounds like your battery has a bad cell, this happened to me when a cell on my battery went out.

Well guys not sure what happened but I jump started it with the diehard charge this morning. Let it run for about 10 minutes then shut it off and turned it back on. Seems to be working now but the real test will be to see if it makes it through another day of wiring! My fingers are crossed and thanks for the advice. I'll post back if the results are yay or nay.

I guess I'm good, I'm not sure what happened. Thanks again.
My money is on your battery terminals.

People dont realize how good the connection has to be between them and your batt. Ive replaced at least 10 different cars terminals now.. including mine. If you go to NAPA, ask them about their "marine terminals". Theyre beefy looking terminals with a stud on them and a wingnut. Chop your cars current terminals off, crimp/solder on a ring terminal(s) then install the new terminals with the wingnut. Its nice because you never have to remove the terminals to remove your battery or service your car.. just remove the wingnut.

Hell yeah brother I will have to pick those up. I'll go ahead and solder them as well. I have to agree, I think that's what it is.

Oh! And thanks for the advice.

I've had problem with my 12v constant to my amp somehow connecting to my remote wire terminal and turning the amp on all night and killing my battery, id check to make sure your amps are actually off. just what I've experienced, when that happened to me it was my fault and a sloppy instal.
