Ok ive been looking at a few threads and seen either a deep cycle battery of a Cap to solve Battery drain problems

I have a 120 amp alt and a 750 CC 875 CA battery im just pushing a 1200 watt brutus the only problem is at nite when i come to a stop my voltage goes from around 15 all the way to 12 wht should i do upgrade to a deep cycle battery, add a cap or get a HO altenator.

Im really stumped because i was thinking that the alt would put out enough power for this system.

I have had this same problem. I think its just cause I have an old ass car (73 duster). When my lights are on, sometimes my system will shut off. Even if I hit the brakes or turn siginal it will cut out. Thinking I need a cap.
