Battery decision..

ok i was planning on getting either 2 red tops or yellow tops for my truck... 1 in the front n 1 in the back.

it would cost me about 300 for both

i was looking into Stinger batteries aswell tho

whats everyone think bout them? and do u think there better then yellowtops?

this is what i would get

(3) Stinger SPV35

(2) Stinger SPV44

(2) Stinger SP800

(2) RED tops or YELLOW tops

what u think would be the best?

this is a daily driver n prolly gonna be running the orion 2500D and a 8004 off the batts

I'd get the deep cycle that's the cheapest, whether it's a Stinger or Yellow Top...

I've heard enough "horror stories" about Optima that I personally would steer clear of them.

if you insist on optima, i wouold go for a red top under the hood to beef up the starting battery (replacement) and a yellow top for your system.

I have two red tops that I just had to exchange because both went bad after 1 1/2 years. Switched over to the Exide 34xcd deep cycle. Paid about $120 for it. Same price as the two red tops.

was thinkin bout goin wit the stingers but it looks liek the optimas are better batteries as of power wise (amps)

so n e comments ont he stinger batteries over the optimas?

id have n e where from 2-3 in my truck...

why waste your money on stinger...

get a hawker battery if you want a stinger, they are the same dam thing.

And there is nothing wrong with interstate or walmart batteries... more of those is better than less of a "better" battery.

never had a problem with any of my yellow tops and if they go bad after a year(highly doubtful if not drained repeatadly) they still have warranty so screw it
