And what exactly makes the copper conductor in "car audio wire" special? If you can explain why wire that costs 2-3x as much is better then I'll buy your argument.


And "more flexible" isn't inherently better.


I agree wire is wire has always worked for me.

Been running the same 4 ga welding wire in my vehicle for some time now.

 
I would give it a try with that setup.

As long as you have 1/0 for big three and power/ground for the amp anyway.

Keep an eye on your voltage and if you start dropping below your batterys resting voltage(~12.6) then get another battery for the back. Your 140 amp alt should be fine.
