Battery and amp groundings

Dear Car audio members,

From my knowledge you are not supposed to ground an amp in the same place as the battery's ground. From some of you experienced guys would you say ground an amp and battery in the same spot is ok or should it not be done. I was told this from a local shop that two grounds in the same place one being a battery and one being an amp is a no no. Lmk

I have read the same info....seems like it was on bcae.com.

Helps prevent ground loop noise, I think

I always ground in the same place, never had resistance on any of my grounds, its when you start grounding in multiple places you run into interference problems.
