Battery and Alternator Question

ok guys i kinda need to know this..

well right now i am looking at getting and 18 in sub maybe a fi btl 18, and if i did would i need to upgrade my battery and alternator? if i got a hifonics brutus that does 1600? i beleive i have a 80 amp alt and stock batt, i will definately do the big 3 so can anyone help me?

EDIT: im looking at getting a FI BL 18 1000rms and putting a 100watt amp on it, if i do the big three would i need a new battery? or what if i got a new battery thats better than the one i have now? would i need an extra battery or alternator?

it is not good to starve a d class amp. most of them don't like it when the voltage drops low. better to spend a little money now rather than latter on new amps.

A btl will laugh at that amp. It'll barely put out enough power to tickle it.

get a deka 9a31 for the back thats a very good batt for the money and will help with the power needs of the amp...
