and the Ah rating of the D3100 is 117A and each Bat Cap 2000 is rated at 50A.

yes as stated before, more Ah = more amps for a longer period of time

Ah is capacity..its not a peak amprage spec it is an average drawn out spec as it relates to the charge of a battery over use.. harder to put in perspective since music is not a constant and when a battery is being used it can be used heavily to barely

Ah capacity is typically rated over a 20hr period. If you have a 100Ah battery, that means your battery can discharge 5A for 20 hours before dropping to 10.5v (5 x 20 = 100Ah) This rating is useless in determining a good car audio battery. You want to look at the over all ability to discharge large amounts of current instantaneously. The D3100 is hard to beat when it comes to instant discharge power...

I would listen to Scottie, he knows his stuff.

The max amp draw capacity of a PM D3100 is 3200A.

The Kinetik 2400 is about 2600A.

I am not sure what the BatCap 2000 is but I believe it is around 1500A.
