Ok ill be running my 2 15's and an AB v fl175.1 with my eclipse pa-5422. I have the 270a mechman alt on my 02 trailblazer. Wondering if 2 D3400's will suffice? one up front one in back

Are you asking for an opinion or a guess or a fact? There is only one way to know what is needed on any system and that is to do some testing. You don’t want to ever drop below 12volts if possible. When playing music with long heavy bass sections you may find some songs that will let your system drop down to 9 or 10 volts and an extra battery will get you through that spot if your alternator and wiring is all good. But I can’t say without testing your system with the right equipment it would be a guess. No way you’re going to get facts without testing only opinions. Spend $20 on a voltmeter and wire it up at the amp and see if your holding 12 to 14 volt under a heavy load and you will have the facts.

you should be fine, the alt will be the most benificial

the 1 up front is probably enough unless you plan to bang it full tilt all day everyday
