batteries need for 400a rms total system

Hey guys need help with a little prob. I trying to see how batteries (AH) I will need 2 get 2day for the new system. I getting a 200a alternator to start off with. Then, I upgrading with the big 3. Next, comes the batteries... I used the ohms law equation and came up with 279 AH needed for battery power. The kiniteck has a battery for a 3800 amp battery , but its AH IS ONLY 134 AH. I'm I correct in getting two of these batteries to run my system? My total system rms is 3600 watts, 400a, 12v..

I am going to have to agree with the above for these reasons. Batteries are not like a power supply, therefore your amps per hour is not exactly constant, so if you have 150 amp hours, you can give off 150 amps for 1 hour before discharge or 15 amps for 10 hours before discharge. I am using the term discharge to mean drained. Secondly, when you turn the engine over the alt will take over anyway, and the batteries will begin to chrage and only have an output unto the electrical system during a voltage drop from the alternator. With the constant push and pull, there shouldnt be a very long period of time that the battery is outputting before being recharged
