Cleaning an amplifier?

don't do soap and water on the internals... just the externals... compressed air for the insides... qtips with alcahol on it if really gritty on the insides.. just not a whole lot.. but i would stick with the compressed air

If its pretty dusty inside, you can use a Swifter Duster and Qtips, and on the outside, as mentioned alcohol and Q-tips/moist rag, and dry rag also to get any grease and grime off of the heat sink.If using compressed air .. be easy.Dont go out to the garage and get the air hose and blow it off,may cause damage.Just get a can that is used for computers.
