ok, now does it have to be a deep cycle batt or can it just be a regular car batt?

nah man dont go with a regular battery.go with a sealed battery like kintetik. batcapp. powermaster optima etc.

really you want to get a sealed battery but if you cant afford that than a deep cycle will be ok

a duracell yellow top i was thinking of buying a optima red or yellow top.

alright well if you go to kinetiks site they say get the number battery closest to number of RMS your running so take that for what its worth, but i dont no how acurate that is . i picked up a kinetik 1800 for my 2300 RMS im running. but i got it off craigslist for good deal thats why i did not go bigger. and ya i also picked up a red top for my main battery. look in the classified there are a bunch of battery for sale for good prices.
