How do you like them and how heavy are they lol?

I haven't put them in yet. I bought them because I get the competitor discount and they're supposed to have a faster discharge than the Kinetiks I have.

They say think of it like this: 30% capacitor, 70% battery. That kind of gave me an idea of what they do.

Anyways, any more opinions if they are ok to run upfront. I don't see why they wouldn't be, I've just had some tell me not to do it. Dude all BatCaps are good for up front batteries (well, at least up the 3000 model), and yes Ray backs that up. They're based in my hometown, NICE people.

I'm now in the market for batts, I was going to go with the HC 3800, but I can also take advantage of that Batcap discount, let me know how you like the batcap opposed to the Kinetic, thanks bro, btw sorry to thread jack. I will wait for your response before I make a purchase. Also, how do you feel about running the lrg reserve bat like the 3800 as your primary starting bat and 1 or 2 3000's to power a 4-5000 rms watt system?

I'm going to try to start steering away from mixing battery brands/types. A lot of the SPL guys seem to not favor it.

The 3800 should start a car no problem. I have a Kinetik 1400 and 2400 under the hood to start my truck. It only hesitates to start when it's really cold.
