Tik- like the saying goes if everyone else jumped off a cliff would you?... 75% of the people on here do not know why they re not suppose to use it other then it clips the signal. So since they heard from someone else it is bad they say dont use it. I on the otherhand wanted more of a reason then dont use it, it will cause you to clip

I don't know what more of a reason you want? The only reason you use it is to correct your response curve, which is much easier to do with an EQ.

At this point I can't tell if you're actually this thick, or if you're intentionally being this much of a rube, either way, you're annoying.

Its marketing, bass boost=mad deebeez, todays music you dont need it, play some jeezy, then put on some dr dre the chronic, big difference, todays music is recorded like dj magic mike. I used to run it back in the day, but its like all bass in songs today is recorder so much louder. Back in the day running an epicenter or bass cube was the poop.

So its been answered. There is now charts, multiple explanations, and applicable uses(very few neccesary) in this thread to show any others wondering whats its there for. I dont blame ya for asking, im sure this might help someone else down the line.

A remote is wonderful to be used to turn the subs off when you have unappreciative company in the vehicle.

U can hear your subs get louder with it. I want someone with an oscop and tl to do a test and prove bb is a bad thing
