Bass and pregnancy??????????????

I don't even bump with my dog in the car.
Are you nuts?
My great dane doesnt mind some music...but **** if you try with my german shep you're going to wreck..he gets scared and jumps in your lap. Freaks him out like thunder or fireworks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I skiped pages 2 and 3, but anyway,

my Amanda is about 3 weeks away from giving birth to our baby,

think of it this way, sound travels through fluid far greater than through gas, in this case amniotic fluid (mostly water) and air, think about how whales can communicate miles away from each other... that sound is traveling right through the mothers body and slamming into the baby, there are endless vital organs and parts to the babys body that are forming and if they are being vibrated then there is a possibilty for damage to the baby.. I pulled my 15 out of my truck since found out she was prego, I did put the 10's back in but the gains are reeled way back..

You are sure a doctor will tell you it is harmful, but you wonder if somebody here(on a car audio forum) will have MORE information?

Turn it down.

My fiance has been addicted to having the bass up ever since we have met. She loves riding in my walled 95 camaro with the MT's behind her off of the V4000xd's. We have found out that she is pregnant and are wondering if the bass would be hurtful to the baby. She is about 6 weeks along, and I can turn it down, but she is wanting it turned back up. Any doctor we ask will undoubtedly say keep it low, because there are not too many bass head doctors out there. But does anyone here have any more knowledge about this matter? I appreciate any advice you all could give.
I had 12s my whole pregnancy.. My baby had severe colic.. Only time she didn't scream is when she was in my car with the bass up. High pitch noises could pose a problem.. But bass.. Nope! U and baby r safe 💓

Wtf...my 9yo wears hearing protection when the knob goes to right...I'd never subject developing ears to undo stress...

Sorry I'm late. Was in a meeting...

No do-overs, err on the side of caution. In all fairness, the frequency is not that low and probably not an issue, volume, maybe. That said, pay particular attention to after they are born. Truly pisses me off when I drive by someone who has a baby or even young children in their cars and they are playing music at elevated levels with no concern that they may be permanently harming their child's hearing. There is a time and place for everything.

Those look like decent cheaper options for sure and probably fine for some systems, but I agree, Audiocontrol has been making high quality stuff...
