Basic properties of sound and air

The box moving around will depend on your driving. My subs are not secured in my trunk and they do not move at all. Then again, I do drive like a grandpa most of the time... Look at my car, lol.

what about the amps though?

I've heard they shouldn't be mounted to the subs. Is it bad to mount them to the chassis?

I'm thinking of making some type of amp rack out of fiberglass, Would it be bad to mount the amps on a slant? I've heard mounting some amps sideways can damage them. i've got a sundown 1200d and an eclipse EA4100

like:

/|OO|\

/= amp

\= amp

|OO|= subs

Do you think being slanted like that and being directly next to the subs would cause harm to the amps?

Should I make my amp rack out of cdf board instead of fiberglass?
